The Best iPhone 16E Magsafe Cases On Amazon
Apple omitted MagSafe from the 16E iPhone, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying the MagSafe features and accessories. I've done the research on various options to determine the best ones, so let's dive in!
A Surprise Leather Find - Belemay Leather Magsafe Case ($40)
Leather cases are by far my favorite simply because they age with you and your case will always look uniquely yours based on the patina. Enter Belemay a brand I hadn't heard of before but one that took me by surprise.
There's not many options in this category for the iPhone 16E so I had to give this a try. Upon receiving, the leather case didn't disappoint one bit, from its quality of the leather to the premium metal buttons for forty dollars (USD) I had found myself a gem.
The leather case feels soft to the touch both on the outside and the inside. On the inside there's a soft layer of microfiber to protect your phone from any damage. At the bottom there's an ample cutout for the usb c port (I tried different cables, even the chunky ones).
The buttons are made of metal and have a clicky and satisfying response to them and at the back is a nice opening for the camera cutout. The front of the case also has an ample lip to it therefore clearing what I like to call the table check (safe to put face down).
I also gave the magsafe magnets a try with many different accessories from car mount, to wall mounts even desk chargers and the magnets are plenty strong. From the leather quality, overall design and great MagSafe magnets the Belemay Magsafe Leather Case for iPhone 16E is an easy recommendation.
The Grippy One - Smartish Gripmunk Magsafe Case ($20)
The next case that I was curious about was by a company called Smartish, now I had heard about this case but personally never given it a chance but with limited options for the iPhone 16E I had to go for it.
Upon opening the package I was greeted with a slim design with a nice gripped texture on the side rails of the case, there's even grooves for your fingers which makes holding this case a delight. As the company intended there's plenty of grip with this case and by far this is one of the best feeling cases I've tried next to the caudabe sheath which holds the crown for me in grip category but unfortunately doesn't make a case for the iPhone 16E.
The gripmunk case has a matte black back and does offer some colored varieties, I went with black to match my iPhone 16e. The buttons on the case have a very responsive and tactile feel to them. At the bottom once again I tried the thickest cables with the usb c port opening and it passed my checks.
Once again here with this case the magsafe magnets work well and will keep your phone attached to whatever accessory you're using. My only gripe with this case was the shiny logo at the back because it takes away from the overall clean look of this case but if you're okay with it....this case will surely not disappoint.
The One for Good Measure - ESR Halolock Clear/Frosted Black Case ($20)
The ESR Halolock Case is one that's been around for many years and that's why this one is a no brainer. With a clear option and a variety of colored options there's bound to be one that will work for you.
The TPU material of the case offers a nice grippy feel to it, add that to a slim profile and you've got a case that'll pretty much work for anyone. The buttons have click to them and provide a tactile feeling when pressed. The cutouts pass the thickets of cables and the front lip on the case passes the table check.
As for magnets this one by far is going to be the best as halolock is ESR's branded magsafe tech that provides quality magnets that will work well with any magsafe accessory. With a price point so reasonable and a reputable history this is one that you can purchase blind folded because it surely will protect your iPhone 16E while giving you the best magsafe ability.
The One That Goes Unnoticed - Spigen Magfit Case ($20)
This is the one that you won’t see or feel — and I don’t mean that in a negative way. Out of all the cases on this list, this is the thinnest and best-feeling one. When I put this case on my iPhone 16E, I immediately loved how it complemented the phone’s lightweight and slim design without adding any bulk.
Once again, I went for the black version to match the iPhone 16E, and at the time of purchase, that seemed to be the only color available on Amazon. Things always change, so check the link to see if more options are available.
Even with its thin design, the case offers great magnet strength, and Spigen is a reputable company that’s been around in the case space for a long time — so you don’t need to worry about quality.
The buttons have a tactile feel, although they aren’t completely enclosed, which was something I wasn’t fond of. However, given the case’s overall design and quality, I’d still say it’s a great fit for the iPhone 16E.
The Anti-Fingerprint One - Ringke Onyx Magsafe Case ($20)
I tried this simply because at this price point I wanted to actually see whether it would not smudge so I opened a pack of roasted peanuts and began to dig in while handling my iPhone 16E dressed in this case and sure enough fingerprints were kept at bay for the most part.
This was a bit much and I wouldn't do this except for testing purposes but in my day to day use with all the cases mentioned this one will not smudge. I also really loved the gripped texture on the edges of the case as it felt nice and definitely added some grip to my device.
The buttons have a very nice and tactile feel, cutouts are precise and the magnets will not disappoint either. Overall at this price I'd highly recommend this just alone for its anti fingerprint properties.
The Cheapest One - Supfine Magsafe Case ($9)
Many times the cheapest options isn't always the best but I've got to say that the Supfine iPhone 16E Magsafe Case is definitely not disappointing in any way.
This is the first one io bought for my iPhone 16E and from it's slim profile, tactile buttons and really strong magnets there wasn't any reason for me not to dislike the case.
Trust me when I say it's not hard to find faults in accessories at this price point but I simply can't here. If you're looking to spend the least amount on a case, want an infinite amount of color options, good magnets then look no further...you've found your match!
Finding the perfect case for your iPhone 16E doesn’t have to be complicated. Whether you’re after something ultra-thin, ultra-protective, or just something that snaps perfectly into place with MagSafe, there’s a solid option out there for everyone. All the cases listed above bring their own strengths to the table — from sleek minimalism to rugged durability — while still supporting the iPhone 16E’s design and features.
