Best leather case for the iPhone Air…need I say more?

I’ve tried many power banks, but this one is by far the most premium and well-built I’ve ever seen. It feels incredibly luxurious and solid.

I view cases as a necessary evil. However, this leather case is like a match made in heaven for my iPhone Air. It’s light, buttons are awesome, I love the decision to open the bottom, swiping feels great. Camera control button is perfect. Last but not least, the smell of this so genuine leather smell at its finest!

So I’ve been doing leather cases for years for my iPhones. I’ve bought cases from all the usual suspects, Andar, Bullstrap, Nomad, Ryan London etc. I don’t care to spend a little extra for a premium product…within reason.

This year I switched from my usual pro max to the Air, I love this phone, never looking back. So I was on the search for a good leather case. In particular one with the open bottom design, I think the Air with the open bottom design is reminiscent of the iPhone 10 with apples own leather case that had an open bottom design (back when they made quality leather cases) I thought that looked so slick and wanted to replicate that. And I wanted Tan leather, so the search was on.

I first looked at Andar, right color, right price but they decided to go with closed bottom on the air. With this thin phone I felt after market charging cables would be a problem, and that’s not what I was after. Then Bullstrap, right color, open bottom design, but they chose to cover the whole camera module which to me looked tacky, and they were over the top expensive as usual. Then Nomad, they went with a weird design for the air, closed top, open bottom, but also open sides and not the color I wanted, and a little too pricey. So that leaves Ryan London, they had exactly what I was looking for but the price point was kind of high.

I was about to break down and buy the Ryan London, then while thumbing through YouTube I came across a video from Qasim and noticed the case he had on his Air, I checked in the description and realized this was his case, he made this thing, it was exactly what I was looking for and it was available for pre- order at a $50 price point. I gambled and preordered.

It finally came and I have to tell you this Tekmomo case is by far the best leather case I have ever owned for an iPhone. This guy did his research and covered every base with this thing, I’m seriously so impressed. This has quality vegetable tanned leather, you smell it as soon as you open the box, so premium, and the perfect color tan. He used metal buttons and camera guard. The buttons are the perfect size and clickiness, and are perfectly responsive, the camera guard has the perfect raise to protect the camera. I’m using the word perfect a lot… because it is. This case keeps the Air super thin and light, and feels so good in the hand. It has adequate lip around the screen, so if your one to set your phone face down like me, no worries. I’m particular about MagSafe strength, no one wants weak magnets of course, but I’ve found that too strong of magnets are just as annoying. I don’t want to pull my car mount off my vent every time I remove my phone. The magnet strength on this case is again.. perfect. It holds to everything super strong, no worries, but not too strong to where I have issues removing from my mounts. The attention to detail with this case is truly amazing.

I’m sorry this is so winded, I just felt this case needed a proper review. Normally I don’t do this as I’m too busy to sit around writing reviews, but I’m so impressed by how good this case is, and so glad lucked upon it. I would put this case head to head with all the big names, I’ve owned them all, and this is better! Who would have thought? If you love leather cases and you’re on the fence don’t be, just buy it, you won’t regret it.

Right out of the packaging, I was already in love with this case. I have used Nomad, Bullstrap, Ryan London, Andar and many other top brand leather cases. The leather Tekmomo used is superior. The buttons are perfectly aligned and satisfyingly clicky. On top of the quality case you’re getting, you’re supporting a honest creator who genuinely cares about people. Small businesses will always be preferred for me, hands down.

I don’t see myself buying any leather case brand other than Tekmomo going forward. I can’t wait to see how this patinas over time. It’s truly my favorite part about owning leather products!

I appreciate the personal touch and care from Qasim, even though USPS dropped the ball on delivering it on time. It felt like Qasim took personal care throughout the entire process. He did state in his latest YouTube video that he will be using UPS from now on.

As for the iPhone Air leather case, I was a little nervous at first because there was hardly any reviews on this case. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its quality. The leather feels soft yet durable, and I look forward to the patina developing over time. As a minimalist, I do wish the logo were imprinted on the inside of the case, but it’s not a deal breaker. I really like the clean, minimalist look that complements the phone well. The fit is snug and precise, offering good protection without adding bulk. Overall, it’s a well-crafted case that feels premium and well worth supporting a smaller seller for.

Oh and I love how it complements my Leather chair as shown in the picture 😊
